coffee set marked
Thank you niceguy,
it's porcelain, designed by a certain Jiritano
found the missing sugar and milk set on ebay, but that would be an easy and expensive solution.

My new garden chair
Don't know the maker, but I always see these around my art/design friends summer places. Not Bertoia, I am told, but anyone know whose design?

Russell Woodard?
I would say that looks to be a chair by Russell Woodard, however the arms are throwing me off.

Whoa
tynellbuyer,
I thought I collected in bulk. You may now have your own religious services or 12 step program with seating in style. Congratulations and good for you. That is a score.

Just to make you jealous, this lot arrives next week, the turning chisels though made here and exported there and are cheaper to import back then buy here, 21st century madness...the left hand rabbet and a couple of other planes and saws are waiting for my bank balance to recover.

a few of dis and dat
2 A. Brandt Ranch Oak lounge chairs. More Mid Century Rustic than Modern, but they should sell nicely to someone in Texas who has sheltered their money well.
I did buy that Gibby chair and have listed it as it just doesn't work in my house, but boy is it elegant.
and probably the nicest Luxo swinging desk light I have ever picked up. Just right.

I didn't mean for that to sound smarmy sorry, I'm busy in there at the moment still repairijg termite damage...(is it ever going to be functional, ever?) and have just discovered I already have a good skew and detail gouge so that was a foolish waste of money, most of those things were indulgences...the next lot will be a bit more considrerd.
My God I love those planes! So easy to set and use, within 20 minutes I knew what I was doing with them. The jack and jointer the best, the smoother so so but that was probably the bit of eucalypt I was playing with. Can't wait to get tha twin screw vise in.
How about a picture or two of your workshop?

Ha.
Nothing smarmy about it! It's certainly hard to temper ones spending at LV against frivolous items like food.
I'll see if I can remember to get some shots of the shop I work in.

A cast iron and beech pepper...
A cast iron and beech pepper mill by Nissen, Denmark, with a Peugeot grinder, for $1. And a Larsen chair I have wanted for a while now. Was not really able to get a good description of condition from the seller, and am happy to find it is about perfect, with no veneer chips to the seat or back.
