scrumdiddlyumptious...another box expensive of imported Canadian loveliness. Have discovered scrapers, stuff sandpaper and these fantastic panel clamps and hold downs (sort of like toggle clamps but better) will do double and even triple duty on the table saw and bench, sweet.
Next up 2 new planes to replace my completely shit Stanley, a couple of minor things and that *should* be it.
Finally??!?! Really?

Finally??!?! Really?
Your wait to find the needle in the haystack was taking too long? Ha! Nice chairs 😉
My finds...
I won't bore you with pictures because I picked up a couple more common but cool items.
Eames Aluminum Group Conference table for $24.99 at Salvation Army. (White laminate top)
Adrian Pearsall walnut side table for $35 from a dealer. Average condition.

Nice Veritas gear! Lee Valley has taken far too much of my profit over the years. I use those panel clamps exclusively now, they do an excellent job. I just did a couple of custom sized side tables last week and tried the clamps out with 2x2 material (just ripped some 2x4 - what I normally use each side) as the "bars", they worked perfectly.
Enjoy!

Thanks SPD, I got the twin screw vice and a few other things a couple of weeks ago, its good to hear that you use them and that they are good, I had only imagined they would be, it seems expensive but isn't really. I think I'll need another set.
I am going to post the design for a loose tenoning 'machine' I have come up with, I can't afford a festo domino and am worried about servicing and accesories for the thing anyway, please comment, I'll need experienced critique before I go ahead with it.
Pegboard, weren't the second generations ESUs' structurally more sound than the first?
same artist
Guy in sf, I picked up this picture in the local charity with hopes that it was a watercolor or pencil drawing. It was in a frame, so I couldn't examine it carefully, and I didn't have a loupe at hand. When I got it home I saw the dot screen. But it is the same artist as your wonderful find. I guess the artist had enough appeal to warrant reproduction. The only info inside the matt was a pencil notation 'Campagna' possibly the artists name, or the title, or maybe the individual who took it to the framer. Good luck with it!
