J.J.: Love that fan
I have three of 'em. Beautifully designed, and they move quite a lot of air for its size!

I know and I still can't get over how quiet it is. Time to start a dedicated Braun/Dieter Rams thread and just marvel at our pieces.

I got one of those tables at auction but mine had a solid walnut top. I accidentally backed my car into it before I even got it home. One of the stupider things I've done.

I cannot find examples of the steelcase cabinet anywhere. Surprising. It is a really charming piece, very atypical steelcase. Did they have any noteworthy designers who turned out interesting pieces at one time?

I love those Goodform...
I love those Goodform chairs. I have a steno chair waiting for new upholstery when I can get to it.
I am so envious of you guys with your wonderful finds from thrift stores! I used to get things pretty regularly from auctions but have had to stop going to those for various reasons. I've started haunting the Goodwill that is a mile from my new house---but it's a really sucky one and I really haven't found a thing there other than the Danish teak table & chairs for $25 five years ago.
BUT. I got this Danish-made teak platform bed on CL last week. I know. It's from the 80s. But I love the headboard with the horizontal grain and the floating nightstands. (This isn't actually the one I got. Mine isn't set up yet.)
I had been looking for one on CL but they always got snatched up right away. Finally I just left the search window open on my computer and would refresh the search every time I sat down at the computer and within a few days it paid off! Yay. I paid $700. I know, not cheap, but it was several hundred less than what they usually go for, and I didn't have the patience to wait for some dufus to list one for $150 because he or she didn't know what it was. I think the dude I got it from really needed the money, so I was fine with it.

Fog & Mørup pendant
I got this Fog & Mørup pendant light today for $50. I was all hot to get one a few years ago but gave up because they were just too pricey on Ebay at that time. Got lucky on CL, for once!
