Saddest RAR ever
This poor rocker spent most of its life on the porch of a house in the back-woods of Michigan, suffering the harsh Mid-Western winters. It's lucky to still be useable. I felt sorry for this sad specimen, and adopted it like you would a scrawny mutt at the pound.
There is not much that hasn't been damaged. The gel coat is shot and the seat has been drilled out to drain water, the base is rusty and the runners are weathered, rotted, missing portions and chewed on (maybe that mutt from the pound).

Whenever I am in a thrift...
Whenever I am in a thrift store I always check out the shelves of lamp globes, looking to spot a Laurel lamp globe. Yesterday I actually did find one, for $3.
I also got the shade on the right for $3. I believe it is a pendant, and is shown in the photo in what I believe is an upside-down orientation. It did not come with hardware, so if it is something anyone recognizes, it would be helpful to me.

Your poor mutt rocker is kinda lovely. I would hang it in my workshop
barn with a taxidermy flying goose and vintage kites.

I got a Folke Palsson style...
I got a Folke Palsson style chair made in Sweden for $3 at a thrift store, and an equally well preserved Kofod-Larsen chair off of Craigslist for $100.

Wild Table Maker Unknown
I saw this table at a local thrift store and just had to have it, no markings anywhere but man is it super cool. I tried different searches but could not come up with anything at all.

Isn't it?
Resized the photos to fit the design of the forum. I love that it looks so chaotic but at the same time if you look closely a lot of the inlay is mirrored on both sides. To show that here is an close up of the opposite side of image 2 above.

Books, more and more frigging books! But I can't walk past anything contemporary to Frei Otto, Superstudio, Reyner Banham, concrete megastructures and all that jazz, so many images you can't find in newer books.

Fantastic table 1flafly...
Fantastic table 1flafly
Crafty materials but resolved enough to really work.
For me, this is real art. Someone who did their own thing.
I know signed art is more valuable but unsigned often shows the artist wasn't in it for the fame. They just wanted to make something.

Funky Lamp
Funky Lamp, just some casting numbers on the bottom. Presumably a medical or weird science lamp. Two toggle switches in the bulge thing on the pole; one for the main lamp and one for a smaller lamp that shines out the back side of the bulge. There's also a two prong socket in the bulge that you can plug something else in. Under the main shade there is an adjustable reversed shade that blocks or redirects the light. Chippy cream-beige paint (looks brighter in the pic).

sticky barcelonas........
these chairs were so filthy before these pictures, they came from the general motors building in motown. seat cushions are torched but the stainless frames are surprisingly excellent.
