All the right things
gene,
You must be kidding when you say "I feel like I am doing something wrong". While I do appreciate the Knoll table (they churn these out on a daily basis) your Gio Ponti tea and coffee service (complete with waste bowl) is long out of production with very small numbers actually produced and even less still available on the secondary market. I think you are doing everything correct. Keep doing what you are doing.

Thanks, Niceguy! I just meant that despite spending plenty of time look on Craigslist and elsewhere, I don't seem to find the unbelievable bargains that some folks on here do. Believe me, I'm thrilled to have that tea set and I feel like I got it for a good price, but it was definitely not a garage sale bargain.

wow Jdip
that truly is one of the best finds so far, where they pricey at all?
I know theres already a thread for this but I wanted to add my find just incase you missed the thread about this super find.
My best CL score of all time... 1958 Eames Rosewood 670/671
paid 250 dollars for it.
I just recently sent it out for professional restoration, buttons/veneer and leather cracks will all be fixed.

Not bad.
That price still leaves you room to make around $25,000 profit.
