today's finds
first, thanks for the help on the Glenn of California chairs. Yes, it does look like Mr. Kapel is the designer.
Today's finds from the local goodwill thrift.
The lamp is japanese and is quite futuristic. Tough to ID
The sofa is by Ryesberg and is Danish, not alot of info on them as a manufacturer. Anyone know anything about them?
nice
I have TONS of shades but none that would fit that I am afraid. Exactly what should it look like?
Today's find, a Norman Bel Geddes metal desk for Simmons in v. good shape. The strangest things keep on showing up in my local thrift stores for some reason (not complaining, of course)

but without the mirror
Brionvega Algol television
I located and purchased this Marco Zanuso and Richard Sapper, Algol television for Brionvega (2007 version) with all the accessories (including the power cord, remote control, and user instructions) for $250.00 yesterday. The original factory corrugated packaging even includes the original dust bag and the interior Styrofoam shells. It appears to be unused. This television will work great as a side table television and it is very difficult to find in this condition.
Although I believed that this was already a good deal I ask for and received an additional discount. The seller was not offended and was more than happy to sell the unit for less than the sticker price.
