Thanks, I was pretty surprised to see the set. I see pairs every once in a while, but this was from the original owner who bought them for his business in the late 60s early 70s and put them in storage when he retired.
They are second generation shock mounts so I suspect 1970-71 at the latest.

Probably because the browser is re-interpolating the image to a different size for display. There are too many reasons why this could happen to tell you precisely which is causing the problem. If I had a screenshot of the page on your computer and a link to the Flickr image I could probably tell you the technical reason why.
But you probably don't want to know....
