Peter Hvidt chair, in need of some sweat equity. Going to learn a little about working with rattan.

Gorgeous!
Soak the rattan the right amount of time and be sure to weave it with the grain, that's all I know. It'll be wonderful when it's restored.

I picked up this Braakman side table. Has a bit of a water mark to the top, which I need to sort out.

Ceramic Candleholder
Not a big substantial furniture piece but as far as candleholders are concerned I'm very happy that I scored this for a few bucks!

Thanks for the comments regar...
Thanks for the comments regarding the Hvidt chair. I have been taking on a few project pieces, so hopefully I will be able to tackle the rattan before too long. Something I got the day before I got the Hvidt chair was this Wegner sofa, which is what is actually getting all my attention right now as I prep it for upholstery (I do not expect to tackle the upholstery myself).
I was given a very generous deal on the sofa by a dealer in the area, even though the issues it has are pretty minor. It has all the original sprung cushions and also has all of those funky metal spring supports that Getama used on their sofas.

Found at the local St. Vincent de Paul
Yngve Ekstrom's "Lamino" chair & ottoman for Swedese, upholstered in black shearling. It was half-off day to boot.... I was flabbergasted when I walked in and saw this just sitting there.

@woodywood -- it ended up...
@woodywood -- it ended up being $75. They originally had a $150 price tag on it. I took the tag up to the cashier, who told me "not to worry, it was half price day." I smiled and asked them what else had come in with the chair... It's in decent shape too, for being 40+ years old -- there are a few dings and a bit of separation in the ply on the back, but nothing too bad. The upholstery is a bit thin in places, but totally usable.

Lots of great pieces everyone
We have been fortunate recently to be able to add these pieces to our collection:
A full set of flatware by Jens Quistgaard and a pair of Georg Jensen S&P that look good with the Quistgaard silverware.

We just got this early vintage Noguchi rocking stool:

And lastly
Not everything is something you can touch and hold, but rather a beautiful fleeting visual event.
This one our 8 year-old son spotted and photographed:

Lovely
all of them. Have you noticed that good mid century flatware has become very scarce "out in the wilds"? There is still furniture and other thing a plenty, but I rarely find flatware any more.
