Got this pair today at the flea market, stamped with American of Martinsville inside the drawers. Does anyone know if this company hired noted designers for their furniture? This pair feels really sturdy and well-made with brass hardware.

and the coffee cups are just a perfect thing. Marked either TJ or JT (probably?) on the bottom. Substantial and serene

While cleaning my fiancees home for sale I came across a plastic tote of Christmas items and to my surprise I discovered a box of Gucci Christmas ornaments. There was also a Neiman Marucs silver ball ornament, a Christofle ornament, and a few Reed and Barton Silver ornaments. These were packed for transport back to our home and the remainder of lights and the such became to property of Goodwill.
Mark, I thought of you and your Gucci mania.

Another of those things you come across where the price is more than you should be spending at the moment, but also too good of a deal to pass up. Pretty much perfect condition, with original spring cushions and and ottoman (although the ottoman is from a Finn Juhl Japan Chair).
