There are some interesting photos of the process at this link. I take it that the spout is formed from a single piece of copper, along with the teapot, rather than anything being soldered on?

My teapot looks larger and has a different shape. The spout is soldered on and the handle is immobile. It is a thing of beauty.

Vodder sideboard for an unbelieveable price
Teak (I think), made by Sibast and designed by Vodder.
Bought for ...£30!
Now just got to decide what to do with it. Was initially disappointed to miss out on the Niels Moller table and chairs for a similar price (!), but am sure this will help me get over it.
