Found a Hagenaur at a junk sale
3 bucks. I see there's one on ebay but the one up there is slightly different. It seems mine is a bit more filled out. Is there any way of knowing if Karl or Franz designed a certain piece? Its the same Madonna as in this auction picture but with a separate base that is screwed into the bust.
-Edit- I also found the table lamps that are an exact match to the Moss lamp I posted above for 25 bucks because one was completely broken apart.

3 nice Finds
We obtained 3 new pieces today we are happy about - and wanted to share.
The first one is a 1955-56 Dining Table from Eero.
The second is the Knoll Lounge Bertoia chair - the full size 45 inch width version. What was great about this piece is that the fabric is all original - no stains, and no rips or tears. Dated around 1969-1970.
Though we fear the cat may like it as a scratching post - the cat is on probation.
The third is a first edition Iron Cast base, 54 x 36 inch marble Eero coffee table. We have been looking for one of these for an awful long time that was in mint condition with nothing wrong in the marble.
Finally the wait is over and best of all, we got it for a song.

Absolutely!
Indeed - very early work. If you look close you will see the "arch" design in the tail and also in the main body.
Whenever we find something, we bring it into the house. If the cat sits in it, it's probably good.
By the way, I found this at an Estate Sale on the weekend. I think it is horrific.
Prepare yourself...your eyes are about to burn...

a buy and a question
4 Moller Model 71 chairs.
OK, that looks like oak, right? Or just light-ish teak??
SELF EDIT - No, that's gotta be oak
and yes, nicely labeled.
EDIT, oh yes, and a nice Ingmar Relling WESTNOFA foot stool

whew
that's what I thought. I paid a bit for them but had to do it. I was a little leery as Oak seems to be pretty uncommon. Was concerned they might be reverent, recent, copies.
