This crazy floor lamp
Got this lamp today for 30 bucks.
I instantly fell in love with it. It is made of a white plastic (lucite?) and is almost 6 feet tall. As you can see in the picture it is bottom illuminated. It came with a shade but it's not original to the piece as there is no way to secure the harp to the lamp, however it does have a very similar white plastic finial that looks like it might very well be original. Anyone have any clue about this lamp's origin? Some one at the swap meet I got it from told me that it might have had a similar plastic shade? I don't know though I have never seen a lamp like this before.

Rocker...
Ive wanted one of these rocking chairs for ages and managed to score two today through two different dealers in Ohio. Its been a good day, very happy.
I believe according to "straylight" these are selrite chairs but often sold as McCobb. I love it.

I owned
6 of those at one point and gave them away when I moved. Not that smooth, I know. Mine had the rounded seats
I did pick up something I love today, 32 Syracuse Restaurant ware BIG Plates. Airbrushed edges. just beautiful

Here are the two Sonneman Lamps I just got.
I also just found a set of Donald Deskey fireplace tools at a local thrift. They are very cool.

Yes, I agree. But... Its not everyday you see one of these at a car boot sale and for the money I couldnt leave it 🙂
On the plus side it does seem to have a nice bit of age to it, the arms have a nice patina and it looks the part.
