Between funky
miniaturists, obsessive Photoshoppers, and clever computer modelers, how are we to know what's "real" and what's Memorex ?
All bets are off -- sez I.

a craigslist ad
Mid-Century Modern Noguchi glass coffee table - Solid cherry wood - $225
This "design within reach" table was custom made to emulate Noguchi's coffee table by Herman Miller. It seemed easy enough to make so I got a solid piece of beautiful cherry from a saw mill and cut it to the correct shape. I then found a 3/8" thick piece of plate glass and had it cut to the proper shape and bevelled. I oiled the cherry wood with tung oil and it has aged to a deep vibrant red. The two legs of the table are joined by an aluminum rod.
>>>>A very successful replica of the famous table by designer Isamu Noguchi which goes for $1500.
Selling for $225

I'll save some pics and attach them so that future generations can enjoy this post for years to come.

Well -- it could
be worse. Wood too thick (and not correctly, but decently, shaped), glass too thin. The knot really makes it, though ?
He/she got the long edges correctly concave. Whew !

I went to a party recently..
And the owner (300 or more pounds and probably 6' 10" tall) get up on top of his (authentic) Noguchi table and danced like mad. I am still amazed that it didn't snap!
Just sharing an experience, carry on.
Aunt Mark

My dear Krenit
That's not a women...but an over -used "hard-core" cross dressing middle aged male in need of a slight tummy tuck, adorned in all the wrong frock. Not pretty, but why not?
Best,
Aunt Mark.
ps Mother has an older man in her bridge club that dresses/ looks quite similar. The gals in the bridge club adore him. I think that he's rather tawdry. I shall forward this snappy to Mother. Many thanks.
