came across a lane coffee table with drawers, and end table, and a nightstand for a good price. all of the pieces are in decent shape, and will be lovely with some gentle refinishing.
i've done some digging around re: refinishing these, and most folks seem to be sanding and staining. i had thought that howard's restor-a-finish (walnut) would do the trick nicely. am i wrong?

Restor-A-Finish will work if...
Restor-A-Finish will work if it's just a clearcoat issue. You'd want to use the "Neutral" color. If you're debating sanding / stripping / restor-a-finishing, try RAF first, and proceed to more difficult methods if RAF fails. I'd skip the cloth and go straight to steel wool, but that's just me.
