Hello out there! First time poster here. So I've inherited what has been identified as a Knoll Pfister Sofa from around the 70's/80's. The base is in good vintage shape with some petina from the sun it sat near a window) and a few mild knicks and scratches. One of the top cushions is missing and the rest of the cushions do not have the covers anymore. I am looking to sell this piece but have very little idea of where to land price range wise, and also the best venue to sell it through. This is where I would love any advice anyone may have. I understand that I won't be able to get to an exact number, and the pictures I have are few and not the highest quality, however I really am just looking at a ball park of what it's value is. Thanks!

To get a ballpark idea of the value of a piece, look at hammer prices on ended auctions online. You may need to do this over time if there aren't many of these around. The price you can expect to get also depends a lot on what part of the country you're in. Rural Nebraska: not a lot. NYC: more than in rural Nebraska. Of course there's someone in rural Nebraska who's got money to burn and doesn't care about condition, then that's a whole other story.

PS, ballpark or no, a number is number.
