from what i've learned, i figure its teak and walnut, danish modern? it's cool how the drawer can slide from one side to the other.

Desk
I would say it is teak and aformosia, when you say you have learned it is Danish I assume it is stamped as Danish? I have seen this style of desk before in different form with the sliding draw, I believe this one is 70s or 80s rather than mid century.
Nice little desk.

There are a couple of Arne Vo...
There are a couple of Arne Vodder designed desks that have similar sliding drawer units, and drop leaf tops that also slide from side to side, as in the example below.
