hi all.

new poster here. been finding the forum more and more when i run a search. anyways, i am in architecture in texas and my brother is in florida with an apparently very good eye.

his latest grab is this chair. he said something about italian and "skema" and i thought it was interesting enough to post because i can't get a bead on it.

not sure if it is leather and i am awaiting photos on any identifying marks.

is it OK to post an image and ask for any thoughts on identifying this chair?

thanks in advance and apologies if i am missing any forum rules or etiquette.

.
If you copy and paste this text

into the 'associated web images' box it should work, but for me it is adding extra text when I tried to fix it for you.

ok. THANKS for your...
ok. THANKS for your help.
it looks to me like there is a firm called "skema arredamenti srl" (he sent me an image of the tags). i don't read italian but it seems like they are a commercial design firm and that the page below shows the products/firms they represent.
http://www.skemarredamenti.it/marchi-trattati.html
anyway, it appears that the chair is leather and the bottom is steel which makes me think that it must be a contemporary leather italian chair but it is hard for me to know how old it is or if it is simply heavily worn.
anyway, nice looking chair but for some reason the metal underside makes me think it must be less valuable but i don't really know italian leather chairs very well...
