Get your brains in overtime and let me know anything you may have on this mark which I found inside the sofa.

1950s sofa in black vinyl with coil sprung seat

my suspision is
that SKM is short for either
Statens kontrol mærke
or Statens kontor møbler.
1st one is state control mark
2nd is state office furniture
I have seen the same mark on many desks from police stations etc that I have had over the years but never the MO
so I am MOST interested in the MO mark.
The crown mark still features on the statens indkøb website listed below

Simon, 11 years late, but SKM stands for Skatteministeriet, the Danish Ministry of Taxation. It pops up on furniture sometimes by itself, and other times with the manufacturer's marks.
