Hi Addicts,

Does the rocking chair have more value than than non-rocking chairs? what would this be worth? thanks. IT doesn't have it's strapping on the bottom and has damage. thanks. Addendum: the straps are below the platform, see image.

If you are a pregnant couple then rocking chairs are worth more than chairs, the rest of the time, hey, look, it

sailorbruno, it would easily cost that much just to purchase the materials needed to restore the chair. Which is, I think, what leif was trying to get at.

I was faced with a similar dilemma recently when I turned down the gift of a nice-looking little old pickup truck in beautiful cosmetic condition with extraordinarily low mileage for its age. Unfortunately, it suffered from frame rot in the worst possible area. I could really use a vehicle like this one, so I got a couple of repair estimates: $6K US to end up with a truck worth $3K. I couldn't force myself to love it quite that much...

What boats do you sail?

Another thing Leif was trying to get at is: We don

I understand your point now. as for sailing, I used to sail small points up at the Cape.

Looks like a fun boat! Haven't seen many, if any, around the entrance to Narragansett Bay where we sail our '63 Pearson, but will keep a sharp eye.

Fair winds!
