Yup. That's what it reminds me of. Didn't think it would be one either. especially after googling and finding other pieces of this manufacturer. I still like it.

When we lived in Denmark I...
When we lived in Denmark I saw knockoffs of the Piet Hein elliptical table everywhere, including in their Home Depot knockoff chain stores. We didn't know a ton of people there but it seemed like of the ones we did know, quite a few had one in their kitchens (surrounded by Jacobsen chairs or Jacobsen-knockoff chairs, which also proliferated).
So it doesn't surprise me at all to see a Danish-made coffee table based on that design.

I dont normally go for knock offs
and Ive seen some really graceless takes on the superellipse table. This one is rather pleasent looking and for 20 bucks you should not hesitate to get it if it is not thrashed.

I was also curious and goggled Danish Gangso Mobler and came upon this
mess, among others.
Seems to be all over the map in style and integrity. Very Ikea-like. A few
winners and most often disasters.
