Jørgen Baekmark was one strange looking fellow. I'd prefer to like his furniture not knowing what he looked like, I think.
Where did you find the photos? Seems like you found a source of biographical information on some of the Danish designers.

it had this image of the designers and a wealth of furniture but none of the images of the furniture listed the designers and I noticed pieces designed by other designers too.
I think I prefer knowing what Bækmark looked like and he does favor Wegner and I agree that Eames favors Volther too.
It was the first photo of Bækmark I'd come across, we have a number of his chairs and love them.

I would love to see the insides of that catalog. I really like the Danish design with a sprinkling of Shaker that FDB produced. And especially Jørgen Bækmark's work. There was a Bækmark armchair for sale in town here and I wanted to buy it so badly. But it was going for high retail, and I just couldn't justify it.
