Short periods of intense UV exposure will often work to mitigate "off" odors to some degree.

An electric fan or a windy day helps, too.

That's what my bevy of lovelies tells me, anyway...

P.S. I'm pretty sure Mark's place has a balcony.

I have a fireplace that makes wonderful odors from old wood. It is valued at about $250/cord with delivery.
