I recently got hold of a make-up table by Cees Braakman for Pastoe's birchwood series. It's overall condition is good, but it has some minor scratches and stains that i would like to take away. Is it safe to use light sandpaper on it? Or any good cleaning product? What product do i put on it to treat the wood? I'm in Belgium, so I'd prefer products available in Belgium.
