Apart a few chips knocks around the edge - Can anyone recommend a filler/paint to use to repair it..? or is it better to replace to top.? This is my first question on here - Many Thanks for any help or advice - Billy

Billy,
There is nothing wrong with having a few chips around such a lovely table. Repairing it would only make the chips look more noticeable, and would subtract from the history of the precious piece. Leave it as-is. Enjoy your table.
Just a thought,
Aunt Mark

Chips = history
I agree, here is my table. It has been rolled to so many different homes and each little battle scare is a memory. If you want a perfect one then you can buy a new one for 20 times the price of a pre-loved one. I say save the difference and buy some chairs to go with it.

.
It is a laminate. Not as pretty with battle scares. How bad is it?
Post a pic. It can be repaired or at least near invisible if minor chipping.
