The following maker's mark appears on a metal tag on a chair/ottoman set I purchased recently. I'd appreciate any help in identifying the designer/maker

E. Chr. Mek. Verk. Vikebuktir
SKRU OG BESLAG

The label does
not hold much information
E. Chr. is obviously the acronyme of a person Mek. Verk. is short for mechanical workshop and Vikebuktir is most likely a place in Norway or possibly Island. SKRU OG BESLAG means screw and hardware in Norway...and possibly in island to, but my knowledge of the Islandic language is far from adequate to answer that. Beslag is also swedish but they add a "v" to skru to make it Swedish. It does not say enough I think to find the designer....but good luck
