No you are not old and confused, you are the arbiter of good taste and it makes no sense that all others do not follow your lead. It is always a fine idea to call people "dickheads" when their design ideas are different than yours. I hang on your every word and I hope that you will continue to point out the transgressions of others so that I may be better informed. Please keep up the good work. I can only hope that all people from Australia are as forward thinking and objective as you.

While the reinterpretation of the Jacobsen pieces in question did not do much for me, I actually enjoyed the Paul Smith use of the stamps with the likeness of HRH Queen Elizabeth II on the Series 7 chair several years ago. I am sure that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I thought of this more as a piece of art as opposed to a chair. Also, all the proceeds from the sale of this and other pieces went to support an AIDS charity (so if it is a poor design at the very least it helped the less fortunate).
