No kidding the Boyds of Santa Monica are smart.
When they convert back the proceeds of their London auction from the Pound Sterling to the Dollar, they will essentially double plus their money. If I had their collection, I would do the same in a hot second.

but if you are a big player that seems like not a whole lot of money a half million for some prototype Eames furniture and other goodies,
hey what's going on over there????? I heard the British love the Eames stuff and it seems to me, and i could be wrong they did not get a lot of money but more than they would over here at this time.

The market
The market here is a bit depressed at the moment too..despite the £ being strong against the $
Eames is becoming popular here, but is not as well-known as in the US..so a more limited market I should think.
