hi all,
I have the chance to buy some teak grete jalk pieces made by p.jeppesen, one being the pictured coffeetable. there are also a couple of one-seaters plus matching ottomans.
wich place do these pieces take in the designwork of Jalk, are they rare or rather more common?
here in belgium they seem hard to find.
I don't have much experience with the pedigree scandinavian products (most of the stuff I find is generic or made to look like) and find it hard to evaluate the price.
Can you give me some indication (I need to keep in mind some renovation on cushions and upholstery), so I don't get to carried away!
the main reason why I'm posting this is probably asking your help to win over the misses...
thanks!

Can't help you convince the wife but if you don't get them in a years time do you think you'll be saying to yourself 'god I'm glad I didn't buy those" ?
If you can afford them, get them. I still wince about some of the things I've passed on or sold.
I have that same
table that I picked up at an antiques show in France last year and we use the he** out of it. It is so long we can fit both of our dinner plates, wine glasses and a cutting board with cheese on it with room to spare.
Have seen much less of our actual dining table since this coffee table came into the house. I paid 250 euros which I thought was a fair price, (don't know if that info will help or hurt in your spousal campaign but feel free to share if it helps!)
