google search limitations  

Does anyone else find this? Its all the basic stuff and tough to find the fine, interesting or even slightly obscure stuff.

Whitespikes chair thread got me looking for early Mies chairs, the rosewood veneered dining chairs which were very similar and nothing was to be found. I admit I'm too lazy to scan them out of the book but I suppose it goes to show that a concise book trumps an irritating search for a jumble of dubious information.

I suppose if I did scan them they'd come up on searches for other people? Web 2 or 3 or whatever it is now.
