Hey Everyone,
This is for sale not too far from me and I'm thinking about buying it. I don't know who the maker or designer is. With the different types of wood, it kind of looks a little hodgepodged.
Thanks!

Bold
It's such a bold and daring design they are already making "inspired by" replicas .....

Adrian Pearsall?
Does anyone think this could be a Adrian Pearsall? The back looks similar to this picture.

Yugoslavian
I have had one of these with the same bent ply back support. It is was marked Yugoslavia only on the top face of the legs around the bolt that attatches it to the frame. Not Pearsall.

No, but
those bent plywood upright pieces are similar.
The woods on yours do not match. The seat base looks like it's painted black, the legs look like unfinished wood, the long back piece looks like oak, and the curved plywood pieces are yet another color.
Plus, the curved plywood pieces have bright silver-colored fasteners, one of which is very close to the edge of the board. On the Pearsall piece, these are placed very accurately and they are recessed screws covered by wood plugs.
And one last thing: yours appears to have an extra board under each curved plywood part on the back. What's up with that?
Now I'm slightly curious to see what the deck looks like.
Sorry to say, this looks very much like a daybed made of parts of other daybeds and also random pieces of wood and parts from Home Depot (the legs).

...unless only the legs are...
...unless only the legs are Slavic, which seems unlikely. The seat deck on mine had the plastic coated wound wire "globe springs"
