Winter
Sensible political discourse
Compact discs
Landlines
Gasoline powered automobiles
incandescent light bulbs
the list goes on and on as everyday we move closer to the obsolescence of everything.

Hm.
Lots of things are still in use but no longer made.
That said, IKEA makes a ladies' dressing table! Or at least what I think you mean by that---a table where someone can sit and put on makeup and jewelry? It's part of their Malm line.
One thing that was probably never in common use but should be, and thankfully is still made are pants stretchers. They are springy metal rectangles that are adjustable in length and you stick them in your cotton chinos out of the wash and hang them up to dry. They stretch the fabric taut and make a nice crease at the same time. Eliminates ironing.
Everything else is overrated! Well, maybe not incandescent bulbs.

My adult children still don't know what the bellows is for that is leaning against the fireplace and it's been sitting there for about 17 years.
