even when he admits he was wrong he was still rude by telling the poster their item was "such a horrible looking chair"....Someone owns that item and obviously thought it was "nice" or "cool" so to tell that person that their new item which they are excited about is horrible looking is just a slap in the face and disrespectful to others who use this forum.
calling him an asshole might have been a bit harsh but I am tied of his bulling, belittling, and plain making people feel stupid...He casts way to much negative personal opinion into this forum and hardly ever has anything informative to say other than contact the manufacturer.
I wish I could pretend to be "a cool know it all" online too...but I am not 14 and halloween is over.
perhaps he will have some more great "fishing analogies" for us?
thanks guys
Mark, alexandersforum, and fastfwd,
I appreciate your comments. I learn by my mistakes and I admit when I am wrong. Non positive comments about me are taken with the amount of consideration they deserve. I must admit that like most "real men" I did not like to have my mother mentioned by the poster regardless of my actions. Even my friend "The Ark" knows that this is off limits.
Henry Ford II (Hank the Deuce) once said after his DUI arrest don't complain and don't explain. I have tried to follow this suggestion. This is the rare time that I will deviate.
Before retiring at 50 I was an "over the road" salesman (and later more responsibility) for a large company (hint). From the beginning I was told always speak to the decision makers (time represented money). This is why I always suggest contacting the manufacturer (if they are known and remain in business) to get the answer I desire at the greatest speed.
At least two people who tried this method got their answers immediately. The thread with the (ugly to me and at least one other) Fontana Arte floor lamp and recently the thread requesting the introduction date of the five (5) wheel Fritz Hansen Series 7 3217 armchair.
I like this forum as a beginning source of information for those things that I do not know and want to find out more. Like the recent post on the Ed Ruscha Twentysix Gasoline Stations and even Riki's good hearted dig of my need for the Antenna apetizer holder by Martin Kastner for Crucila Detail was helpful.
I recognize that I have the character defects of little patience, a lack of understanding (I do not suffer fools well) and very little tolerance. I will do my best to make improvements in this area both here in this forum and in the game of life.
It is with the warmest appreciation and deepest regard that I remain...
Very truly yours
postscript: Mark a few posts ago you appeared to be wearing red exotic Gucci's. Killer!

It's not Arne Jacobsen, and it's not Fritz Hansen.
Itn was designed by Lawrence Minsker, as stated above by l1flafly, and manufactured by Danerka.
Danerka claims to produce "quality furniture in timeless design for hard use in conference rooms, canteens, waiting areas, lecture rooms, private homes etc.".

I've seen other photos of the chair with FH labels
but I've never seen them in any Fritz Hansen literature.
This thread made me curious, so I spent a little time looking, but I was unable to find a trustworthy reference that says they were manufactured by anyone other than Danerka.
So yeah, maybe they were distributed by FH. If FH manufactured them, they're keeping that fact a secret from me.
