...that there are similarly styled footstools that would be a very nice mate to this chair design, but I would not use an actual papa bear ottoman if only because it's such a distinctive design and so closely associated to the papa bear chair.
I am sure you could find a nice four legged ottoman in teak (maybe one with stretchers between the legs that echo the design of the chair) without much difficulty.
