flos arco  

i have a very common problem with a vintage arco lamp. the first curved bar that comes out of the main vertical post from the marble base has buckled. does anyone on the forum know of replacement parts or a source (other than flos of course)?
i have had four of these lamps.. every one with the same problem.. i remember a photo of a muscular dude hanging from one of these lamps in a flos advertisement from the 70's. i wonder how many lamps they went through for that shot?

any help would of course be greatly appreciated.
