Seems such a shame, as this sort of thing leaves a bad taste. They go on to say that George Nelson was their 'inspiration'. The company is actually called Kirch.
I think it's cynical, but the nature of 'search/key words' has fed this sort of name-association opportunism. Just look at eBay

From what I've seen
all Kirsh lamps and clocks are 100% crap, except for fairly good copies of the Zoo Timers clocks. Of course, they're not the strong fiberboard of the originals, but at least they look good.
