These are almost too over the top, not sure if I like them, Its all seems like too much hidden engineering. But it is very clever.

Amazed I've never come across them before.

I love it. Well finished...
I love it. Well finished and beautiful at both sizes (and during the transition as well - particularly during the transition). I think it's a resounding success!

actually patetented in the 18...
actually patetented in the 1890's I think.
I'd be happy to see the guts of it, the apron disguises all the interesting bits.
