Nice. It's not easy to present you guys something new ;). I'm really wondering whether it was a one-off collaboration or if there were other chairs produced. Maybe I'll ask the people at Fritz Hansen's directly. I also wonder what else there might be left to find out about Finn Juhl. Would definitely love to find a complete list of all his designs - or at least the ones that really produced. But I think, this list is still to be put together.

Got an answer from Fritz Hansen. They say, that Finn Juhl indeed drew some designs for Fritz Hansen, they worked on them and the chair was among them - but eventually none of the designs got in production. I must admit that I am a bit puzzled now about the catalogue and the picture that cdsilva posted.

Maybe "production" for FH, means large volume production. Clearly one model was made in at least small numbers, marketed, and with a few examples still around for recent reupholstering.
Copenhagen cabinetmakers would make prototype models for the annual exhibition. Many did not go into production afterwards. Perhaps FH did something similar, although the knockdown construction shown in the restoration photos indicates that it was in production and not a hand-made prototype.
I dug a little deeper and got a funny story. Apparently nobody really knows anything about this chair. According to Fritz Hansen it is only the japanese professor Oda, who attributes the chair to Finn Juhl and to Fritz Hansen. It remains uncertain how he came about it. The people at Fritz Hansen

Interesting developments. Nice work, hb. It would be enlightening to see the construction details of the FH-4350 to see if they matched up with the chair in question.
And Dux imported all kinds of furniture from other manufacturers, just like Selig and Moreddi. Tingstroms, Jo. Carlsson (who made that Karl-Erik Ekselius daybed on the same FF page above), and Swedese all come to mind.
Here is the Lamino chair by Yngve Ekstrom for Swedese.
