ekornes
Ok there is on the chair a shipping serial # that comes from
Ekornes imported into the USA with no dates on the stamped
into the wood base leg. I am wondering if at the time that
Ekornes took over the company, that these were not the last
of the hand made chairs

the siesta chairs
It's a Westnofa Siesta chair designed by Ingmar Relling. They still sell them in Norway and they cost about a thousand bucks. I would trade mine for a womb chair or an eamsie but neither would be as comfortable. It's called "siesta" for a reason. Check out the site, I like the ones that don't have a cushion, just the canvas...
enjoy your cool chair.
