And eBay is missing another opportunity for additional revenue. They should also charge sellers 9 percent of any sales tax that they collect if the sale is in state. Who do those sellers think they are passing 100 percent of that tax on to their state and municipality?
Why should any seller be permitted to keep more than half of the final bid? Shipping insurance? Let the seller pay it! Packing? Let the seller pay for that too. Returns if the buyer changes their mind? Seller should pick up the bill. If you don't jump when I say jump, look out! I'll give you a "negative feedback"!
The sellers on eBay get the short end of the stick in so many regards, I really wonder why so many people subject themselves to the insanity that is eBay. That is, unless you have some rare PEZ dispensers.
