I was wondering If I could get a bit of help. I am trying to confirm or deny the authenticity of some Nakashima Knoll straight chairs I have. There seems to be some very close knock offs out there and the new ones are different than the old it seems. If you have a labeled vintage example, could you post a profile shot? Thanks in advance.

Ironiclly, I found one that same day jesgord posted his signed Nakashima book. Consequently, done some research myself and yet to grasp the different productions. From what I've gathered thus far...the Knoll versions have dowells embedded in the sides of the seats. One on either side and one in the rear. The arm rest isn't clear to yet. From a viewers perspective, some are slanted inward tolike an overhang, others seemingly outwards, as if ascending.

I assume
yours is unlabeled also. Of the several slightly different variations I have seen, many are identical to mine, though none mention labeling and many are short on good pics for detailed comparison. I hope one of our members has a labeled one to share.
