while there are many factors, I was curious as to what black leather people have used from Kyson's for the eames style chair.
i am looking at a few samples , and have them narrowed down , but was wondering what others have done and would the use the same or try something else after the project was finished

Kyson's leather varies a lot,
and what they had two or four years ago is not necessarily what they have now. They're an outlet, I think.
You just have to get a bunch of samples and get the best finish and color for your needs. I avoid anything with a glossy surface-type finish because I got one of those once and the surface started peeling off after a year or two on the ottoman.
I like aniline dyed leather best. The color is in the leather, not on the surface, and it just has a more natural look and feel.
