Due to the size & weight of this conferenrece table configuration, particularly with a marble top, the only way to move this table around is by seperating the top from the base (unless you have doorways, hallways, stairwells, utility/service elevators, etc. that can accomodate this version to be moved 1 piece). The large slab of marble top is also prone to breaking if the base starts to twist if lifted off the floor. The marble should also be installed with a substrate that can be used with the screws to attach to the base or something similar to the image attaced. Try going to a Herman Miller showroom or retailer that has a marble top display and take photos of how it is installed that can be replicated by the marble top fabricator (if not by Vitra or HM)
