I just looked at the findmetheoriginal website and looked at the eames aluminium group video
And here this guy tells us that the upper seat spreader should not have any visible scews
Is this so ?
Because if you look on websites etc basically everywhere ea 107 and 108 aluminium and or chrome examples have these screws
And if it is so then my old ea 107 is a fake 🙁

Both Herman Miller & Vitra versions have visible screws.

Certainly some later Vitra...
Certainly some later Vitra chairs DON'T have screws. Not sure if they are all like this, but I have had chairs approx. 10-12 years old without screws. Post a pic of your chair and we can say if it's right or not.
