Hmm.
Not sure what your question is here. When you say "hockey puck" - that refers to the early Eames shock mount style on fiberglass chairs. These mounts were larger than the later mounts that took their place. (Not sure why though. Anyone?) Anyway, the large mounts were never exclusive to the designs for which they were included. (This is my understanding.) So, if you are looking for replacement mounts for a fiberglass chair then new repro mounts of the smaller variety should work.
I'm not sure how the caster base would figure into this. I think it's just a base that's usable on any fiberglass chair (Except for some of the side-chairs intended for bases that join together). Anyone else?
mine actually doesn't have...
mine actually doesn't have either shock mount, the caster base is just attached with a screw into the shell and a little black washer in between, i was wondering if i could use a rocker base without a shock mount and just use the washers that came on my caster base

If your shell is upholstered there are two possibilities about how it mounts onto a base. First is the traditional rubber shockmount - where the screw threads from the bottom up into the washer embedded in the shockmount. I believe this is the hockey-puck style that you're referring to.
There is another style, in which a threaded rod is inserted into the fiberglass directly, hidden on the topside by the upholstery. The screw threads up from the bottom into the embedded threaded rod. You should still be able to fit a rocker base onto either type of mount, although the shockmount is the historically correct style to be fitted with the rocker base.
Hope this helps.
