He send me some grainy pictures , what do you guys think.
Does it have a certain age
Do you guys spot some anomalies
Thanks in advance

For a few years in the 50's, ...
For a few years in the 50's, on both the LCM's and LCW's, shock mounts would have little dimples. However, yours look to be way too new for the chair to be that old. Also, they look to be actual letters rather than dimples. My understanding is authentic pieces have never had letters on their shock mounts. I have a feeling they're replica replacement mounts, especially with a less than perfect job as indicated by the red residual glue oozing out of the bottom shock mount.
Second look
I originally looked at the pictures and replied from my iphone.
Looking at the pictures on the larger desktop, there are things that definitely look odd. The finish on the wood is too clean with no visible wear. I thought the circles on the shockmounts were holes or dimples which would be appropriate as mentioned. Like the wood, the frame is way cleaner than would be expected. The underside of the chair does look odd. Some details look right such as chairs of that vintage would have the larger screw in the back center shockmount under the seat, and I've not seen a knock off with early boot glides, but I'm constantly surprised with the fakes that turn up these days. Curious if the frame is solid. I've seen many chairs where the shock mount glue was messily applied.
I think it is one you'd have to see in person before making a decision.
