Hi, first time poster here.
I just bought an eames 216 soft pad Herman Miller chair for a real good price. It's old but in real good condition. The thing that interests me is that it's made of hopsack instead of leather. When did they stop making those hopsack versions, I can't find any info on them...

that hopsack fabric was des...
that hopsack fabric was designed by Alexander Girard for Herman Miller
they were standard issued and the leather was a up charge. You can still get any fabric you want from Herman Miller on any chair
