I cannot find a place to buy wooden thresholds anywhere. I have hardwood in my house and one room is stained a different color and i need a threshold between that room and the other room to seperate the two.

I don't know if you are looking for a certain type of wood, but my father bought one at home depot - but then again you might not have one in your area, or it might be a threshold that is not compatible with your set up

In the US
red oak thresholds (the only word I can think of in which a single H serves a double function ?) are commonly available. They are typically 1" +- thick with heavily bevelled "slopes" -- though flatter pieces could be easily made out of 3/4" or thinner stock.
