So, this sweet small vase was a recent gift from a neighbor. Would any of you poodles know what the blurry signature could mean? The gift giver mentioned that she was into "Asian decor" about the same time that "Ike was into Mamie". If the calligraphy translates into "Made in China"...I must have a chat with her.

Well
The glaze technique is Japanese, so that would be my guess.

a while back..
the same lady gifted me this tilted clay vase, that was unearthed on a foreign expedition by her former husband. I asked if her former husband were an Archeologist???? and she exhaled a HUGE puff off of her Dunnhill..and loudly told me that he was/is a Gynecologist.
