Haha, thanks for the tip. So hard to know what to believe these days with all of the mis-attributions. My first internet search informed me that it was a Hans Wegner piece that sold for $2,250:

But I never heard of Wegner working with JK.
Two clueless bidders, with the "winner" actually the loser for vastly overpaying for that chair. The auction house confused this design with Wegner's rocking chair for Mikael Laursen, for which the hammer would still have been too high.
Rule of thumb: don't believe any sales or auction listing attribution without verification from vintage documentation or (for the most part) marks/labels.
I just picked up one of these and was looking into the attribution. I found this German listing which attributes it to Hans Olsen. Not sure how accurate that is or if they linked Olsen because of his other rocking chair(s) Jules Kristensen. Nice to see it in leather and with the three upholstery components.
