Hi all,
I purchased a group of 4 Eames DKX-1 white wire chairs with blue naugahyde pads on with zinc H base legs recently
Same as these one on this link.
They're all in great shape apart from 1 chair
1) the seat pad seem to be popping off the wire shell. I've tried to put it back on to no avail. Any suggestions on what I should do?
2) Top of the seat pad has a gash? Any color match fix-it product out there to fill in gash?
3)Also what is the best way to clean, care and preserve vintage naugahyde?
Are there any restorer's out there who specialize in eames chairs in USA?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe replace with repros?
I don't know of any product that will "restore" vintage vinyl upholstery, but some treatments do seem to improve the color and, perhaps, some suppleness, though the effect seems temporary. The one that I've had recommended to me is "303" protectant available at boating and marine suppliers. I have it and tried it with limited results.
